NFL strength of schedule: Steelers and Browns have most difficult remaining slates, Packers have third-easiest

CBS Sports

Article Summary:

Although the Eagles are currently on the outside looking in of the NFC playoff race, things are actually shaping up well for them down the stretch and that’s because they have the fifth-easiest remaining strength schedule of any team in the NFL.

Over their final five games, the Eagles will only play one team that currently has a winning record. Not only do all five of their remaining opponents have a record of.500 or better, but the Browns also have to face the top team in the AFC and the current No. 2 team in the NFC. On top of that, they also have to play the Bengals, Raiders and Steelers. Of the five teams with the most difficult remaining schedules, four of them belong to the teams in the AFC North.

The Cardinals and Packers have the next two easiest schedules, which should make things interesting in the battle for the top seed in the NFC.

Here’s a look at remaining strength of schedule for each team.
